Industries such as tourism, hospitality, logistics, production, technology, sports, and entertainment have been hit hard by the pandemic. As of 1 April 2020, 17:33 GMT+3, there were 823,626 confirmed cases and 40,598 confirmed deaths across 206 countries, areas or territories, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).
