Christ’s Heart Ministries, a holistic ministry that mentors leaders for generational impact, has revealed an exciting lineup for its 2021 edition of the Virtuous Woman Conference set to run from tomorrow 30th April 2021 to 2nd May 2021.
Derived from Esther 4:14, this year’s theme seeks to challenge women into the realization that for such a time as this, it is important for them to position themselves in places that they deserve and are called to.
The well-curated Virtuous Woman Conference that is set to uplift and inspire women in Uganda, will open with an Awards Dinner Ceremony on 30th April 2021 at the Spectrum, National Theatre. The Awards dinner will celebrate women breaking boundaries and winning in spheres of Education, Health, Finance, Sport, Entertainment among others.
Speaking about this year’s conference, Rev. Deborah Mbuga said: “This year’s edition will take a hybrid format, to enable those that can’t be able to join us physically to follow events online. These will also be broadcast across our social media platforms.”
“The Virtuous Woman Conference is open to all, including men interested in deep insights that can help shape the women known to them into honorable and decent folks for the contemporary and ever-changing world,” she added.
As part of the church’s vision to empower people for generational impact, Christ Heart Ministries International will also host the conference on 1st May 2021 at its main branch in Mukono, Lower Kawuga opposite Hass Petrol Station. The conference will feature a series of seasoned speakers including young rising women, women in positions of influence, and women who have overcome different crises in life.
Among these is Mrs. Sarah Kiyingi Kyama, former Minister of State for Internal Affairs, Mrs. Catherine Ruhweza commonly known as Mama Tendo, Ms. Jacqueline Nyapendi, Mrs. Rachel Senyondo, and Mrs. Patience Kasankya from Nairobi, Kenya.
Pastor Moses Ddombo and his dear wife Pastor Jessica Dombo, the Spiritual parents to Bishop Isaiah and Rev. Deborah Mbuga, shall also be speaking. They carry over 30years of experience in family and leadership.
The conference will also feature a panel discussion on the impact of Mental health and the well being of children, women, and the family at large. This discussion will be steered by outstanding women like; Ms. Susan Nsibirwa, Pastor Doreen Kimuli, Mrs. Karen Hasahya Kimuli, and Mrs. Rachel Bekunda.
Rev. Deborah Mbuga also remarked that “Esther had the option of self-pity but when her uncle picked her up and gave her opportunities, she took them up and eventually became queen. So, who knows, there could be someone out there who after this conference will get the opportunity to pick up their pieces and become the person they were meant,” concluding that “Bishop Isaiah Mbuga, our Overseer at Christ’s Heart Ministries, has got a legacy of speaking into people’s lives and enabling people to experience the power of God and we, therefore, believe that many people will be touched.”
The Virtuous Woman Conference will climax in an inspirational and soul-touching service that will see speakers address congregants at all Christ’s Heart Church branches and listen/watch a message from the headquarters.
Virtuous Woman is a Christ’s Heart women’s ministry that seeks to create turning points for women who have previously opted to quit on life. The Ministry provides them with knowledge and vision that will inspire them to live a life of purpose.
Bishop Isaiah Mbuga is inviting both women and men from all walks of life to attend this year’s Virtuous Woman Conference. “As Christ’s Heart Ministries International, we believe in Women and mentor them for a generational impact. It’s through such conferences like this that we teach, correct and uplift them. Come and be prepared for God’s purpose for your life in such a time as this.”
