Peter Situmbeko Nalitolela is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange from August 2024 and also serves as a Board Member of the CSD & Registry (CSDR) Company Ltd. He is a Certified Board Director and a seasoned finance professional with work experiences in areas ranging from Capital Markets, Banking, Investments Management, Pension Fund Management, Power & Energy and Telecommunication.
Peter is a member of the Fair Competition Tribunal, a Board Director (Tanzania) for Aceli Africa, and an independent non-executive board director of Coop Bank Tanzania.
Before joining the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, Peter worked at NBC Tanzania, Barclays, Airtel Tanzania.
Mr. Nalitolela is a thought leader, and he frequently gives trainings, talks, guest lectures and participates in panel discussions in both industry and academia. He is a holder of BSc. (Hons) in Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from Trent University (Canada) and MSc. in the Applications of Modelling, also obtained from Trent.
