Uganda Airlines has suspended its flights to Democratic Republic of Congo capital city, Kinshasa, after violent riots and attacks on several foreign embassies today. The Airline said in a statement that the suspension has become necessary as a result of the ongoing unrest in the DRC, including the capital Kinshasa. Before the suspension, the Airline’s Bombadier CRJ-900 had a frequency of four flights per week between Tuesday and Saturday. “Flights will remain suspended until the situation warrants normal operations,” the statement said.
