The Board of Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL), has appointed Mr. George Rwabajungu as its substantive CEO, effective today July 1st, 2020, CEO East Africa, can confirm. UETCL is a government of Uganda owned entity that bulk-buys electricity and transmits it to the various distributors, mainly Umeme who controls over 97% of the distribution segment.
