Former Kenyan president Mwai Kibaki is dead. His death has been confirmed by President Uhuru Kenyatta a few moments ago, who has also ordered the Kenyan flag to be flown at half-mast from today until Kibaki is buried.
The former president will also be accorded a state funeral.
Kibaki was Kenya's third president, ruling from 2003 to 2013.
At the time of his death, he was 90 years.
