Airtel Uganda has picked on Dennis Kahindi, the former Chief Executive Officer, of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, to lead its newly formed Broadband and Post Paid Services unit, our sources at the telco, can exclusively reveal. This is as the telco gets ready to roll out its 5G network. In February 2023, Airtel Uganda successfully tested 11 of its Kampala towers in the Industrial Area, Garden City Area, Upper Kololo, Clement Hill, Hannington Road, Lower Airstrip Kololo and Wampewo Avenue and declared they were ready for 5G.
