Dr Eng Andrew Naimanye is the new Executive Director for the Uganda Road Fund (URF). Dr Naimanye, who has been in the acting position since November 2019, joined the Fund in 2010 as the pioneer Head of Programmes where he is credited with overseeing road maintenance work plans financing amounting to UGX3.2 trillion and ensuring there was value for money. “He takes on substantial leadership of the Fund at a critical time when it is rooting for sustainability in road maintenance funding,” a statement from URF says.
