URA customs officials in Jinja have confiscated a consignment of 500 bags of cement that were being smuggled in two trucks. The officials got intelligence that a notorious cement smuggler had two trucks carrying contraband cement on the way to the heart of Uganda. “The drivers had dodged official customs checkpoints, opting for the route through the Isimba Bridge.
