Standard Chartered Bank Uganda has announced the appointment of Maria Kiwanuka to its Board as an Independent Non- Executive Director. Kiwanuka is a senior economist with 14 years’ experience at the World Bank, where she focused on East Asia, Southern Africa and Uganda and took part in a number of projects aimed at improving transport and power infrastructure as well as urban studies, among others.
