Morrison Rwakakamba is Chairman of the Board - Uganda Investment Authority

Morrison Rwakakamba, has been appointed as an advisor to the President of Bridges for Enterprise (BfE), a global non-profit organization that provides pro-bono advisory services to early-stage social ventures in developing countries.

What the advisor position entails

According to the organization, the Advisor position is a volunteer role supporting BfE by providing mission-based leadership and strategic guidance. Advisors are expected to utilize their individual skills, knowledge, expertise and/or relationships to support BfE on an as-needed basis. Advisors also act as advocates and representatives of the Organization. There is no set term limit for BfE Advisors, and both the Global President or Advisor could choose to terminate the relationship at any time.

Rwakakamba, who is also the CEO Agency for Transformation, a public policy think tank on agriculture, energy and environmental democracy, is Senior Global Director Fenix International, Country Director Bridge International Academies, .

Morrison previously served as the Special Presidential Assistant – Research and Information (2011 to 2017) and Country Program Manager Twaweza East Africa (2010 to 2013), CEO Uganda Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2007 to 201) and Resident Consultant and Manager Policy Research Uganda National Farmers Federation (2003 to 2006).

Rwakakamba holds a Master’s in Public Administration in Management, Political Science and Government from Harvard Kennedy School.
