By Our Reporter Uganda’s Ministry of Transport has initiated plans to review and amend the current Traffic and Road Safety Act, 1998.  According to Aggrey Bagiire, the State Minister for Transport, through this amendment, the Government shall put in place and enforce a comprehensive driver and testing regime. This will include adopting groupings of vehicles for driving licenses that are harmonized in order to have a driving regime that tallies with other partner states in the EAC Region.
