The European Business Expo, a 3 day event organized over the weekend by the European Business Forum (EBF) concluded yesterday Sunday 8th. The event invited the business community in Uganda to showcase their expertise and further explore investment opportunities in energy, agriculture, IT, tourism and trade investments. It celebrated and embraced the European and Ugandan cultural diversity and atmosphere through business, food, beverage, fashion and entertainment.
Addressing the media in the week ending Friday 6th May 2016, EBF Chairman John Peter Gaustad said, “Europe is still the largest importer of goods from Uganda and the country’s no 2 trading partner. There are several hundred companies doing trade between Uganda and European countries. The expo show cased to Uganda what Europe does here and what Uganda does with Europe. Most importantly it presented interesting business and networking opportunities.
