The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) will host the ACCA Eastern Africa Convention in Kampala from 25th to 27th November 2014. Under the theme ‘Eastern Africa the next growth frontier’, the convention will draw participants from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan, Eritrea and other Sub- Sahara Africa countries. According to ACCA Uganda Head Beatrice Isagayite, the meeting will be a major professional networking and learning event for the association’s members and the business leaders in the region.
“This convention intends to give ACCA membership in the region and other business leaders an opportunity to network professionally and share best practices while facilitating gainful business links and interaction. It also provides a platform for professional accountants to discuss and contribute to development challenges facing businesses, the profession and society while contributing to policy debates within the profession,
