The Carlson Rezidor Group of Hotels has announced its entry into the Uganda market with the establishment of the Radisson Blu Hotel. The Hotel expected to open its doors in the 4th Quarter of 2016 will comprise 195 rooms and will be managed by Park Hospitality, a local company owned by prominent Ugandan Businessman Bob Kabonero. Services available will include food and drink outlets, conference space, outdoor swimming pool, a gym and spa.
Speaking at the African Hotel Investment Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia recently, President and CEO of Rezidor, Wolfgang Neumann said, “We are delighted to arrive in Uganda. Tourism is one of the country’s fastest developing sectors, and Uganda is also becoming an important market for foreign investment due to its rich oil reserves.
