As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has once again offered free medical services to over 850 residents of Hoima. This was during a two-day event held at Booma Grounds where eight highly skilled Chinese doctors from Naguru Hospital treated residents suffering from diseases like malaria, eye and skin diseases, diabetes and various other ailments. The event which attracted many people from neighboring districts of Masindi, Bullisa and Kibale saw beneficiaries also go through training for healthy use of family planning.

In a press release seen by the CEO Magazine, CNOOC’s public relations supervisor Aminah Bukenya said, “CNOOC will continue to express solidarity with the people of Hoima District for the good hospitality they have offered to us. CNOOC wants to improve the well-being of the community so as we continue to co-exist together when we are in good health.
