On Friday May23, South Sudan Customs Services and Uganda Revenue Authority signed a deal, a move that could heighten exchange of information to ensure collection of accurate customs duties and other charges applicable on imported and exported goods, as well as prevent contravention of Customs Laws.

Richard Kamajugo, the Ag. Commissioner General and Maj. Mikaya Modi Lubajo the Director General South Sudan Customs Services both agreed for regular dialogue to share information and work effectively as this is key to facilitating trade.
