KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced that it will increase flying capacity by 1.7 percent for the 2014 summer season between 30 March and 25 October 2014. Capacity will be raised 1.9 percent on long-haul routes and 1.1 percent on medium-haul routes. In so doing, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is opting for a controlled growth while providing additional capacity for emerging markets.
In a press release sent to this magazine KLM Uganda Country Manager Dick Van Nieuwenhyzen said, “This development now brings an open worldwide airspace to our homeland. We are now part of the global flight patterns.
