CPA Josephine Okui Ossiya is the Chief Finance Officer, Bujagali Energy Ltd (BEL). She is also a Board member of Bank of Uganda, the First Female accountant to be appointed on that board, and a Council Member of ICPAU.
She is also on the Board of Trustees Bank of Uganda Defined Benefits Scheme, Britam Holding Plc Kenya, Britam Asset Managers Uganda Ltd, Busitema University as the Audit Committee Chairperson, and Equata Tobacco Distributors.
Josephine holds a Master’s in Business Administration majoring in Internal Business from the University of Liverpool and Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in accounting from Makerere University. She also holds professional accountancy qualification from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Certified Trustee Certificate from College of Insurance Kenya.
She is a member of ICPAU, ACCA, Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Uganda.
