A value-based ‘no excuse’ leader set out to transform organizations, communities and nations to the highest level of performance and achievement, Katusiime is a senior Financial Manager professional, with over 18 years of experience in managing financial reporting, talent, appraisal of new projects, preparation and monitoring of budgets, consolidation and financial analysis process of firms.
She is known for her commitment to achieving high level of accuracy using ethical work standards, as well as strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. As a professional Accountant, Mary is a fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of United Kingdom and a member in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (accounting option) and a master’s in Management Studies.
At Joint Medical Store, she is the Director Finance and transformed the organization from an SME to now a big enterprise with both associates and subsidiaries using internally generated funds. This has been possible because of her expertise advice and training in the areas of integrity leadership and quality management practices. During her tenure, JMS has experienced a rise in Revenue from UGX46 Billion in 2013/14 to UGX112.9 Billion in 2019/20.
Her goal is to lead the organizations, communities, nations more especially Africa to greater levels of success and thus, leave legendary impact in the continent instead of failures, shame and excuses. She has gone through an active, consistent, and challenging self-development journey of becoming a National transformer. Currently, she embarked on a 20-year transformation project of supporting a Government aided primary school in her village (Sheema District) to a model school with the aim of instilling values and confidence in rural young people especially girls.
