Marion (Adengo) Muyobo is Head of Social Affairs at Total E&P Uganda where she is in charge of Stakeholder Engagement, Land Acquisition and Resettlement in line with International Best Practices Such as IFC PS5, Equator Principles, IPIECA.
Prior to this, she was Head of Methods, Regulatory Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement from 2011 to 2015 where she was charged with Shaping, defining and implementing methods requirements for the environment and social affairs teams as well as the stakeholder engagement strategy.
Ensuring mechanisms are in place to manage Environment & Social Affairs Management system coordination, procedures validation, training follow-up, method Group Projet Integret/ Integrated Group Project (GPI/IGP) interface & method Business Warehouse (BW) interface.
Supervising the environment and social affairs regulatory (National, international, Internal) update & follow-up.
Working with partners to develop and implement engagements at a basin wide level based on agreed principles using international best practice communication methods.
Marion’s career started in the beverages sector as a marketing executive for International Distillers Uganda Ltd from 1998 to 1999
Among others, she executed V&A sherry roll out, 10 years on Uganda’s Number one Sherry. Rolled out major marketing initiatives for Malibu, Smirnoff and Uganda Waragi.
She later joined Uganda Breweries Limited where she grew through the ranks from Brand manager spirits, to Marketing manager to Marketing manager Bell & Tusker where she launched Tusker malt lager in Uganda, to Commercial manager spirits where she developed and executed joint distribution model for both beer and spirits with the one stop shop concept.

Launched and was Chairman of the Uganda Alcohol Industry Association as well as Arrive Alive Uganda. As person in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility executed activities to roll out water to local communities and led the employee tree planting initiative.
She was head of marketing, then took on the marketing director role for Diageo /East Africa Breweries/ UBL before joining Total E&P Uganda
Marion holds a Master of Business Administration from University of South Wales and a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Coventry University
