Annette Kiconco Serufusa is the Chief Business Officer at Orient Bank Uganda Limited.
She is in charge of providing leadership to Orient Bank’s Commercial Banking team in delivery and implementation of strategies to ensure actualization of target business revenue, market share growth and profitability.
Annette has a wealth of experience with expertise in business strategy formulation and development, governance, customer service excellence and controls.
Prior to joining Orient Bank, Annette was the Acting Retail Banking Director at Absa Bank Uganda Limited in charge of driving strategy and business performance for the Retail function. One key achievement was the launch of the 1st fully state of the art digital branch for Absa. Prior to that, she performed different functions at Absa Bank/Barclays including Head Customer Network, Head SME Banking. She was also a Regional Manager for the Central Business District before being promoted to Head of Local Business.
Annette has advanced training in Global Entrepreneurship from International Business Development Academy in Netherlands, certification in Advanced Commercial Credit Lending from the London Institute of Banking & Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Economics from Makerere University. She was recently awarded a certification in Transformational Leadership from IMD Business School Lausanne, Switzerland.
