URA records 17.6% revenue growth despite shortfall

By Silvia Nyambura Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has registered a 17.6% growth in revenue collections to record Ushs 8.1 trillion in the 9 month period between July 2015 and March 2016.  This performance is however Ushs 194.62 billion below target at 97.66% for the said period. The Authority now has 3 months to collect Ushs 3.3 trillion to beat the Ushs 12 trillion target set by Ministry of F
