KAMPALA, UGANDA- Quality Service Delivery summed up by accessibility, affordability and predictability took centre stage during the grand finale of the 2017 Digital Impact Awards Africa (DIAA) held in Kampala.
From Micro-lending to Agency banking, internet costs and speeds, speaker after speaker noted that while Uganda has come very far, somewhat on from nothing to something’ digital-financial inclusion journey, the country has reached a point where average quality of service should never be condoned.
David Karubanga, the DIAA patron, also State Minister for Public Service noted that the time while Digital and Financial Inclusion players were for far doing well, there is no room for laxity as the populace expects even much more.
“I am honoured to be part of Digital Impact Awards Africa. Both the digital and financial sectors continue to strongly contribute to the development of our country. We in the public sector are doing our best to match the excellence exhibited by these private players.
